- Why can't I type double quotes ("text") in the DxR Nursing case?
Double quotes have been found to cause errors with student records. Instead, we recommend you use single quotes ('text') when entering text into the case.

- Why can't I read the screen text within the PDF version of the Instructor manual?
If you have difficulty reading the text in some of the figures shown in the PDF version of the Instructor manual, use the View menu to zoom in to 150% or 200% magnification.

- How do I e-mail from within the program?
First, you must configure your browser's e-mail account in order to send your instructor care plans, notes, or other information from within the DxR Nursing program. Please refer to your browser help feature for more information on how to set up the e-mail account. Then, within the DxR Nursing program, click any e-mail button and it should open the e-mail screen.
Note: Users may not have e-mail privileges in a computer lab due to institutional restrictions. Please contact your System Administrator for more information on their computer lab e-mail policies. If e-mail access is not available, you may choose to print out the information for your instructor to review.

- Why can't I create care plans for the nursing diagnoses that I have selected?
The DxR Nursing program will allow you to select any nursing diagnoses that you feel are relevant to the client. However, once you enter the care plans screen, you will be prompted to create care plans approved by the case author. This method ensures you are creating care plans for the most relevant nursing diagnoses.
